Author: Davey Madison

The purpose of the MBRCT program is to encourage economic development through investment in research projects. Success in this regard is substantiated by a recent study by the Montana Business Bureau and Economic Research at the University of Montana in Missoula, which found that the MBRCT’s “impacts have been substantial and it clearly has been a good investment in the state economy”.  The study cites creation of 459 jobs per year, $315 million additional income by Montana households, and State revenues $66 million higher, due to MBRCT’s impact on Montana’s economic base over its 15 years of operation.
