More Opportunities Popping Up at IMS

Question: What happens when you give an hour of free time to 500 entrepreneurial people at a conference? Answer: They host pop-up receptions!

Some amazing groups have seized the opportunity at Innovate Montana Symposium to host pop-up receptions on before the Innovate Montana Reception at the Pup Station.  On Wednesday, July 12 from 4:30 to 6 make a plan to attend 1 of 4 (or more!) pop-up receptions to be hosted in various locations around Billings.  These will be great opportunities to network, learn from some great organizations, and maybe find a buddy go with to the Innovate Montana Reception.

Montana Manufacturing Extension Center, Montana Women’s Foundation, American Jobs Project, and Boss Lady Bash will all be hosting a pop-up reception.  Read on to find out more!

The Montana Manufacturing Extension Center will host a cocktail hour in Conference Room 5 at the Double Tree Hotel starting at 4:30pm. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar with a large selection and Montana made brews.  Come meet with Montana manufacturers and a few wonderful sponsors including StateFund, BGI Worldwide Logistics Inc., Crowley Fleck, Rocky Mountain Bank, and Spika Design and Manufacturing.

Take the elevator to the 20th floor of the DoubleTree Hotel to the Skyview room hear from Kate Ringess from American Jobs Project.  She will present their report on Montana’s Photonics Industry in the Skyview at 4:30pm.  This is a newly published report that highlights the photonics industry in Montana and how to help it continue to grow and thrive.  Drinks and appetizers will be served.
